About Shannon

Shannon graduated from LaTrobe University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. She has since worked in a variety of clinical settings in both the public and private healthcare sectors.

She has always had a passion for working with women of all ages and went on to complete postgraduate study and further her clinical skills at Melbourne University in both Exercise for Women and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy.

Shannon believes that every woman – from adolescence to pregnancy to post-menopausal – can benefit from a pelvic health consultation. No woman should have to live their life with pelvic health issues impacting their confidence or ability to engage in work, exercise, hobbies or healthy sex life.

Pelvic pain and continence issues should not just be accepted as “part of being a woman”.

Shannon is a local surfcoast mum with 3 daughters who keeps fit anyway she can and spends many hours ferrying the girls to and from local sport.

She also works within the public health sector in the Pelvic Health team, enabling her to keep up to date with the latest techniques and research.
